Western Steering CommitteeAbout UsThese pages describe the Western Cadastral Steering Committee of the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) Subcommittee for Cadastral Data. You will find information on western states activities specifically related to implementation, meetings, and other western specific activities. In addition to these western states efforts we have an eastern steering committee and national coordination through the efforts of the FGDC Subcommittee on Cadastral data. The Western Cadastral Steering Committee is organized under the auspices of the FGDC Subcommittee on Cadastral Data and is charged with addressing issues specific to the western United States, encouraging broad based participation, and advancing the Western Cadastral NSDI. The membership of the steering committee includes representatives from federal land agencies, states and counties and Tribes.
