About Us
These pages describe the Federal Geographic Data
Committee (FGDC) Subcommittee for Cadastral Data. You will find
information on national cadastral coordination, standards development,
meetings and implementation activities. In addition to these national
efforts we have two steering committees for the eastern and western United States.
The Subcommittee on Cadastral Data is organized under the auspices
of the FGDC and is charged with standards development and partnership
coordination related to cadastral information in the United States.
The membership of the subcommittee includes representatives from
federal land agencies, states and counties and Tribes. We also
have an interested participant list.
The Subcommittee’s Charter, strategic plan and annual
progress reports can be found in the section on Organizational
Documents.
The Subcommittee has two steering committees (eastern and western)
that address issues specific to those regions and provide a closer
liaison to local and state land records and cadastral folks.
The Subcommittee Charter and annual progress reports can be found
in the section on Organizational Documents.
If you would like more information on the FGDC Cadastral Subcommittee
please send us an email or you can contact the co-chairs or the
secretary.
