Counties government is very limited in New Hampshire. Very many governmental functions that take place at the county level outside New England take place at the individual municipal level here. Of the 234 incoporated municipalities in New Hampshire, perhaps 20 have GIS departments which have converted their parcel information. The remainder depend on private contractors to do this work.
